Kirschyard is Andi Mann’s Chardonnay from Eckelsheim, in the western hills of Rheinhessen. The small family estate works organically, with a focus on biodiversity and the character of each vineyard. Spontaneous fermentation, maturation in wood and bottling without filtration shape this cuvée.

Vinification

The grapes spend three days on their skins before spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine then matures in large wooden vessels and is bottled unfiltered.
