As the name suggests, this one is full of character! Grapefruit peel with hints of gooseberries and red current on the nose. Lean texture with strong minerality and long lingering acidity lifts the end of the palate. Furmint taken to the next level!

Vinification

The grapes are harvested and whole bunches pressed with a pneumatic press. Then - 1/4 of the juice is fermented in steamed Hungarian oak, the other part in stainless steal. Eventually both get blended in a concrete egg and aged for another 6 months, before it gets bottled unfiltered with a pinch of stultifies.
