RECERCA

Recerca is the project of Jess Albero and Laurent Pujol, born from years of exploration within the vineyards and natural wine community of Southern France. The name means “research” in Catalan, reflecting their enduring curiosity and commitment to understanding the diverse landscapes, grape varieties, and traditions of the region.

After years working on small négociant projects and sourcing fruit from some of the South's most respected growers, Jess and Laurent gradually established their own vineyards and cellar in the rugged hills between the Corbières and Roussillon. Today, they farm organically, working with old vines rooted in schist, marl, and limestone soils shaped by the Mediterranean climate.

In the cellar, whole-bunch fermentations and minimal intervention are central to their approach, producing wines that balance the warmth and generosity of the south with remarkable freshness, energy, and precision. Every bottle reflects their belief that great wine is an ongoing process of discovery.
